CT 7

Why does the 4-lane divided Super 7 just END at a light in Norwalk near the DMV? Does it have anything to do with the part that passes by the Danbury Airport that also just ends?

Note how the Super 7 just STOPS. This is the northern terminus of Super 7 from Norwalk. It ends up against a cliff wall that was has no continuing cuts in it. It's as though there was never really a serious attempt to continue it north.
